Melissa Wise, LMT, E-RYT, Reiki Master
In 2010, I became a licensed massage therapist in Texas after experiencing first hand the healing power of touch. I continued my education in massage, acquiring certifications in deep tissue, sports and pregnancy massage and became certified in Orthopedic massage in June 2012. I am currently a Arkansas Licensed Massage Therapist #8956.
In 2012, I was led to Carlsbad, CA to heal my heart and emotional pain. I fell in love with Carlsbad, the beautiful weather and felt a true sense I had “come home”. Learning to meditate and reconnecting with yoga began my journey into healing and my decision to move across the United States to relocate in California. The daily practice of meditation and yoga changed my life and led me to the decision to become certified to teach yoga and meditation. I fell in love with hiking and connecting to nature.
I had experienced the healing power of Reiki and became attuned in Reiki I & II in 2013 and Reiki Master in 2014.
March 2014 acquired certification to teach Stand Up Paddleboard yoga and taught yoga on the beach in Carlsbad, CA .
In 2014, received my certification as a crystal singing bowl practitioner and acquired my first set of crystal singing bowls. I have continued my study of sound/vibrational healing adding Tibetan bowls and Gongs.
In March 2015, I attended trauma sensitive yoga and meditation instruction with Warriors At Ease, becoming certified September 2015. Working with the military on Camp Pendleton as an independent contractor bringing massage therapy and teaching yoga.
April 2015 I studied iRest Yoga Nidra completing iRest Yoga Nidra Level training in Northern California September 2015.
Returned to Texas in September 2017, where I taught seniors yoga at assisted living and free yoga & meditation to veterans as well as volunteered to deliver meals on wheels.
November 2018, received my Gong Master Certification, from the lineage of Don Conreaux.
In November 2017, I was introduced to Shamanic Breathwork™. Over the year 2018, I experienced the Shamanic Healing Initiatory Process and apprenticed and Master Apprenticed under Star Wolf in North Carolina, Peru and Teotihoucan, Mexico where I earned my certification as a Shamanic Breathwork™ Facilitator. Offering this medicine through workshops and one on one sessions.
Currently working to create a journey for each of my clients by combining my modalities.
